Concessionary fares amendments

Regarding the list of Concessionary Pass arrangements in Bus User 32, it should be noted that geographical counties were used, therefore information for unitary authorities is included in their geographic counties (eg Berkshire no longer exists as a local authority unit, but ‘Berkshire’ referred to the unitary authorities which are geographically in Berkshire).
It ash also been pointed out that in many areas the term ‘Borough Council’ should read ‘District Council’: ‘Boroughs’ was used to refer to any council other than a County Council.
Some corrections have been found following the publication of the table:

The whole of Essex has reverted to the old hours 0900-2400 as from 6 October, including Southend and Thurrock Unitary Authorities (Thurrock valid up to the last bus)

Herefordshire: Residents enjoy free travel at all times, not standard times, and can cross the border into Wales. There is a reciprocal agreement between Wales and Herefordshire that enables residents to travel to and from Wales on direct cross-border services. Herefordshire is a unitary authority and therefore does not have ‘boroughs’ or ‘districts’.

Lancashire: residents are entitled to free travel on Blackpool trams (and the Knott End Ferry), but visitors are not. From 5 October, the free entitlement on bus services was cut back to 23.00 Monday-Friday, and a flat fare of 50p applies to disabled pass holders before 09.30.

Staffordshire: Passes are valid at all times of day for all users, not just Staffordshire residents.

Wiltshire: Services X4/X5 were renumbered 264/265 back in January 2008.
